Silvia Lucretia Nicola
Analyst


Silvia Nicola ist Analystin bei Middle East Minds. Sie ist außerdem hauptberuflich Sozialwissenschaftlerin am Zentrum für Militärgeschichte und Sozialwissenschaften der Bundeswehr. Sie studierte Politikwissenschaft an der Freien Universität Berlin und der Universidad de Granada (Spanien) sowie Military Studies an der Universität Potsdam. Derzeit promoviert sie an der Freien Universität Berlin zu den deutsch - irakisch-kurdischen Beziehungen zwischen 1991 und 2020. Seit 2016 ist sie zudem als Beraterin im Bereich Migration und Diaspora tätig und hat an mehreren Studien für die IOM, das Auswärtige Amt und die GIZ mitgewirkt. Außerdem leitet sie regelmäßig Seminare zur politischen Bildung.
